HIGHLIGHTS

- Search Exploration Services will commence an Induced Polarisation (IP) Survey on 20 April 2008 over the Ashburton Base Metal Project.
- The IP survey will test for highly conductive units indicative of sulphide mineralisation and identify drill targets.
- The survey will be directed at large base metal geochemical anomalies over a strike length +3.5 kilometres and a width of +3.0 kilometres.
- The program will be funded by Metminco under a farm-in agreement with Peak Resources Ltd.
Mt Vernon IP Survey

Search Exploration Services have advised that they expect to commence an IP survey on 20 April 2008 over geophysical anomalies previously delineated on the Mount Vernon licence.

Previous geochemistry and geophysics provide strong supporting evidence of anomalism. The main area of interest exceeds 5 kilometres of strike length. Previous rock chip samples are highly anomalous in lead (+1%), silver (46.5ppm), cobalt (1.895%), iron (59%) and manganese (29%).

It is planned to complete approximately 20 line kilometres of IP survey to enhance definition of the anomalous features outlined by previous work and as a precursor to Reverse Circulation drilling.

Preliminary results from the IP survey are expected during May 2008. Following interpretation of the data, drilling is planned on the project this year.
